International Student Services

As soon as you are admitted to UQAT, the International Student Services will guide you through the process of coming to Québec for your studies. The counsellors can help answer any questions you may have about your studies, housing, student life or life in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

When you arrive at UQAT, you will have to meet with the counsellors at the International Student Services to fill out some forms related to admission. They will provide information concerning your compulsory participation in the Group Sickness and Hospitalization Indemnity Plan or in the Québec Health Insurance Plan (RAMQ). They will also activate your student file so that you can access your university e-mail (firstname.lastname@UQAT.ca) and register for classes.
