Human-centred, creative, audacious, Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) is one of the ten university institutions in the Université du Québec (UQ) network. Thanks to the excellence of its professors and instructors, the quality of its programs, its strong links with its partners and the communities in which it is established, UQAT is widely known for its teaching and research across Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Quebec, Canada and abroad.
Most of the programs are offered in French at UQAT. However we also offer programs in English for Indigenous students.
UQAT has developed specific programs for Inuit and First Nations students that meet their specific needs. The pedagogical approaches used in programs offered at UQAT Val-d’Or campus have been adapted in order to make room for indigenous perspectives.
To attain their objectives, organizations must be on the look-out for new market trends, evolution in technologies and new ways of doing things. That is the key to performance and continuing education is part of the equation.
UQAT is a university whose excellence in basic and applied research as well as in creation actively contributes to the development, advancement and use of knowledge throughout Quebec, Canada and elsewhere in the world.
