Grand Reunion for UQAT's 40th anniversary

The Grand Reunion event of the the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), held under the theme "Resonance 40", is a momentous occasion to bring together UQAT's graduates since its creation.

At this evening event marking the end of this anniversary year, we will be proudly highlighting the past 40 years during which UQAT has defied the impossible and resolutely pursued its development.

  • Who is the event intended for? To all UQAT graduates, regardless of their year of graduation, and to all those who have contributed to the development of UQAT. This event is for you!
  • How much does it cost to attend this activity? The event is free, including access to the site, the musical performances and the inflatable games. Food and drink will be available on site for a fee. Note: The 2024 graduates will receive a complimentary cocktail and meal

A musical and festive evening!


Performance by Richard Desjardins

Awarded an honorary doctorate from UQAT in 2004, Richard Desjardins, a Quebec music legend and fervent defender of the environment, will be giving a musical performance to mark the occasion. This renowned singer-songwriter, born in Rouyn-Noranda, has always captivated audiences with his poetic and engaging lyrics. His exclusive performance at the Grand Reunion promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Musical entertainment by DJ Mamiilou

Since 2017, Mamiilou has been immersing us in her world by combining several musical styles, including deep house, breakbeat, techno, ambient and outsider house. She is a member of the 'Bon Quartier' collective and '1989' since 2019. A member of the all-female group Et on déjeune, she is also one of the DJs who have performed at the Guinguette chez Edmund, the Nuits (bi) Polaires and the Festival de musique émergente en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (FME). Her first single, Hemi Sync, was released on all platforms in August 2023.

Indigenous songs

Marilyn Chevrier-Wills is an Anicinabe cultural educator from the Timiskaming First Nation community. Her spiritual name is Kishkatekwe Dishnika Mandodem (Moonlight Woman of the Loon Clan), but she is best known inside and outside her community as "Grandma Marilyn".
