First Peoples
Programs Offered to First Peoples Students
All UQAT study programs are open to Aboriginal students. However, UQAT has developed specific programs for Inuit and First Nations students that meet their specific needs.
The pedagogical approaches used in programs offered at the UQAT Val-d’Or campus have been adapted so as to make room for Aboriginal perspectives. As a result, examples given in class are a greater reflection of Aboriginal realities.
These programs can be offered in English or French, depending on the demand.
