Admission request at UQAT
- International students must complete the paper admission form. No documents sent by email or fax will be accepted.
- All documents submitted for an admission application are the property of the university and cannot be returned to the candidate.
- The Admissions Office will only consider applications for which the application fees have been paid.
- Admission is valid only if the student registers for the requested term.
- Only official documents will be accepted. Photocopies are accepted only if they are certified as true copies of originals.
ADMISSION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Undergraduate Studies
- Non-refundable fee of $75 payable by a cheque made out to Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, by credit card, or money order or in cash
- Duly completed application form
- Copy of your birth certificate
- Copy of your most recent transcripts, including your Secondary V transcript
- Letter of confirmation from an employer, covering a period of at least one year, describing tasks undertaken as an employee—only documents on the employer’s letterhead will be accepted
- Your resume
- Non-refundable fee of $75 payable by cheque made out to Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, or by credit card, money order or in cash
- Duly completed application form
- Copy of your birth certificate if DCS completed before 2000
Please Note: The DCS must be completed prior to the beginning of the session for which you are requesting admission*.
*If you need to complete only one course to get your DSC, you must provide us with an official letter of confirmation from your student advisor.

Graduate and postgraduate studies
- Non-refundable fee of $75 payable by cheque made out to Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, or by credit card, money order or in cash
- Duly completed application form
- Copy of the official transcript of the completed program (from the bachelor’s degree, if applying for the graduate program, and from the master’s degree, if applying for the doctoral program)
- Copy of your birth certificate
- An essay of at least three hundred (300) words, in which you describe your achievements and explain why you are applying to the program
- Three evaluation reports, which must be sent to UQAT as soon as possible (Download form uqat.ca/evaluationreport);
- Your resume
Note: You may be required to submit additional documentation, depending on which program you have applied to.
